The SynchroniCity open call is mainly aimed at SMEs, cities and large businesses; which are the ones that can receive funding.
Some research centers have a business arm legally registered. In this case, they can act as an SME and therefore can be qualified for funding.
Research centers, acting as a public body, may have the knowledge that an SME partner needs. They can partner with the SME and participate in the pilot project but they will not be eligible for funding.
