ASAP-VALUE : A Standards-based APproach to enhancing VALUE from city data lake

ASAP-Value pilot presents a platform for open data to be a key enabler for innovation sustainability for Smart CWhile there is a debate on the best business models or how to approach data monitisation, there is a growing preference for cities to “learn by doing”. A common practice for modern data management is to concentrate on building a governance layer on top of an existing data lake. ASAP-value pilot will deploy the Sensinov interoperability platform as a service: a city data lake, consisting of hot-pluggable connectors allowing to collect data from a data producer. In addition, a self-learning module for fault detection and isolation of IoT data sets will be fine-tuned, providing thus a means to ensure high quality of the data exposed. A smart mobility application will be deployed to demonstrate the benefits of the open data portal: guiding a user to an available electrical vehicle charging station. Sensinov is committed to open source, the NGSI-LD implementation will be provided as an open source to the project and lessons learned from the experiment will be contributed to NGSI-LD at ETSI ISG CIM.
